Great Chateau Batailley 2011 Grand Cru Classe. inflight, and Chateau Larrivet Haut-Brion 2011 in the lounge. Not the best vintage, but excellent wines.
For business class, the old world red & white wines are excellent IMHO especially compared to legacy operators who seem to be in a race to the bottom nowadays. For me, many of the wines in QR J frequently beat BA's F. I am glad that QR aren't afraid to go for New World chardonnays that for me consistently offer far better value than Burgundy that BA seems to be so wedded to: I wish they'd consider alternatives to the red Bordeaux, but I guess too many eyebrows would be raised if it were replaced. Bearing in mind the spicy nature of Arabic food, it's very common for aromatic varietals such as riesling to show on the wine list. The BA F Champagne is better though (it's been Grand Siècle for some years now).

A decade ago, BA's F on board wine selection was significantly better, but then Willie Walsh's accountants took over the asylum, Alex Cruz came in to inject his "cost cutting DNA" and they seem to be quite happy to offer F pax sub $10/bottle wines, and is one of the many reasons why the product difference between BA F and QR J is so blurred.
