For a memorable seafood option near Paddington I can recommend London Shell Co, which is a very accomplished restaurant aboard a large converted barge moored at Paddington Central (less than a 5 minute walk from the HEX platforms). It is much more refined than that description suggests, and my experience of the food has always been great, with a very interesting wine list.

Bear in mind that you are still (just) 90 days out from your travel date, so you should be able to buy heavily discounted HEX tickets online for your specific date – I think the discount windows are 90 and 30 days, with the biggest discounts for tickets bought 90 days+ in advance.
