Concerning SAS Eurobonus:

The points are valid for five years unless you have Diamond status. So, if you could manage to obtain Diamond status at some time during the coming five years, the points you earn today will not expire.

There are no YQ "taxes" on awards booked via SAS. So, the taxes for a Germany-North America on LH can be as low as EUR 150.
