Firstly, thanks for taking the time to respond.

To recap, we are booked in Premium Economy which I believe is called Elite Class. This was booked via a Travel Agent.

I have spoke to EVA Air today who have advised that as my tickets were issued via a Travel Agent that if I wanted to purchase an upgrade this would have to be done via the Travel Agent. I have spoke to the Travel Agent who have confirmed the price is circa £1800 per person return. This is too much for me to justify.

The Travel Agent have advised that on the day of departure they may be able to find out how occupied Royal Laurel is and if it is then under occupied at the Check in desk I can inquire about the cost of an upgrade from Premium Economy / Elite Class to Royal Laurel. I would be very appreciative if anyone has any idea of how much this would likely be? Of course, if there is spare occupancy then that occupancy is perishable so there maybe room for negociation.

Secondly, I assume possible upgrade from Premium Economy / Elite Class to Royal Laurel cannot be negociated with the cabin staff.
