Has nothing to do with TWOV. The agent added the segments so bags can be checked through. If you weren't checking bags through there was no need to add it. TWOV doesn't require them add segment to your record.
i didnt check bags, so that wasnt it. It was the TWOV, they said the reservation needed to be added to their system and that since it was MU it would then show up when i viewed the DL reservation. I know this because i asked when at the airport after noticing the MU flight showing. But that is not material to my main point, which is that it is possible but DL choses to not surface these MU reservations most of the time.
