I did get the offer by email from AA to pay for special ground service at LAX. Last time we flew LH F we got that included. You get what you pay for...no surprise AA cannot command much of a premium over J for its F product.
I thought at one point that intl F passengers got the Five Star service, and I specifically remember seeing an agent discuss boarding time with some pax in the old Flagship Lounge at LAX (when it was the 3-class F lounge). Maybe this was only on some routes though? IIRC, to SYD and maybe HKG?
