So my son was #3 on the pre T-24 upgrade list. He is now #7 , and names that were lower on this list are now higher. I am thinking it must now be based on time of check-in. It may be that 4 people applied +P (I had already applied +P for him). It is annoying as there are four seats available but it is ORD-SAN which historically was a very difficult RPU route - I was 2/6 in 2019.
