Interesting VBD (or OP-UP) experience tonight
TL;DR:
Jan 2 UA 2006 EWR-SFO. Accepted $600 (or 30k miles) to take a 2 hour later flight. All done via the app and manually checking my reservation prior to boarding, no gate announcements were made.
