I complicated the renewal process...

My GE was expiring so was my passport.
I started the GE renewal process, then renewed my passport.
I am still waiting for the approved for an interview, so I cannot do Enrollment on Arrival.

I have my new passport, but you cannot update your passport number during the renewal process.

I have a flight coming up in a few weeks.

On return to the USA
Assuming I do not have my approval for an interview, I assume I am not eligible for GE?
Assuming I do have my approval for an interview, I assume I do the Enrollment on Arrival?

Anyone do this (dumb thing) before? Advice?
