In my past life I worked many sporting events and many Super Bowls. We had to make last minute travel arrangements around the country, both before and after the games. From my past experience (and over a decade-plus to compare to), you won't see flights added for NFL playoff games. As others have stated, you'll see up-gauged equipment swaps, but not additional flights. You might be able to catch new flights after the games that might be re-positioning charter planes, but that isn't too typical either. The logistics of adding flights at the last minute is a tough one to handle.
Super Bowl flights have usually already been added to the schedule well ahead of time, as the venue has been dictated long in advance and the tickets sold long before the match-up is decided (usually to 'fans' all over the country). As to CFB Playoff games, there are large ticket blocks held until the schools are decided and those fan bases are more apt to travel.
