Most of the drivers use their personal accounts which I don't think allows for use with the tourist wallet. You can definitely use the tourist wallet to pay for maglev tickets though. Otherwise use cash to pay the taxi driver.
Thanks, I'll get some cash for the cabs. Although I would love to try the Maglev, getting a cab at the other end or switching lines with luggage really doesn't appeal after an 11 hour flight.
