Hello and thanks for any help--I've looked around, but couldn't find anything that answered my question.

I have a fairly short connection at LHR tomorrow, arriving at T2 from NQY, departing T5. I travel with what on any other airline in the world would be hand baggage, the smallest Rimowa roller, but on Flybe it's a checked bag (well, on NQY>LHR it's checked because `too big for bins', but on LHR>NQY, where the gravity well is curved differently, it's allowed and fits with room to spare in every dimension).

My question is whether it's possible to return to the airside transfer area at T2 once I've collected the bag---this is the domestic baggage claim, not international, fwiw. I walk through here all the time, but I can't remember if there's someone sat at a desk or signs that say I'm entering a one-way system before the baggage conveyors...
