The CFB Playoff games are played at neutral sites and each fan base gets half the tickets - large numbers from both sides are traveling in (well, I guess many LSU fans won’t need to fly to NOLA this time around). OTOH, NFL divisional playoff games are played at the higher seed’s home field, and most ticket sold are to fans who are already in the local area, usually to season ticket holders. Yes, a handful of fans from the opposing team will manage to get tickets, but again, that number almost certainly won’t enough to justify adding extra segments and can instead be covered by existing capacity.

The Super Bowl is played at a neutral site and thus you may see extra segments or upgauges to add extra lift because tens of thousands of fans from both fan bases, in addition to media and others, will be traveling in for the Super Bowl.
