No. Two guests per primary or secondary user - it doesn’t matter if they are your family, strangers, or any relationship in between. If you get three in with only one card holder then that would fall into the category of ignorance or a courtesy but not policy.
The wording is
"Immediate family (spouse, domestic partner and/or children under 18) or up to 2 guests. Guests must be accompanied by the eligible member and present boarding pass for same-day travel on American or a partner airline." So OP can bring in the children or the guest but not both.
