I mean, it might just be full? I have flights in March ex-LGW, and the best I can do is row 6 (!) on the outbound, and row 4 on the inbound. They really should block row 1 and 2 for Goldies if there's a large business cabin... But, no, no problem booking row 1 for me + companions on other flights
