I completely understand that, but the whole experience just sends me over to UA where they have the whole security thing down better. Plus, UA lets me clear security at terminal 6 or 7, leaving me with options in case one has problems. And UA has an elite line...that alone will keep me from flying AS, whether or not they have the option of asking for one.
