It would makes sense, if a reduction is required, to choose May. The wet season starts in May and lasts until mid-November. Historically, there may be less demand during the summer months. Flights used to depart LAX around 8:00 am and return the same day. Now they depart at 12:45 pm and overnight at SJO for a 10:00 am departure the next day. I anticipate this would allow morning aircraft utilization before the outbound to SJO & late afternoon/evening utilization of the aircraft upon return.
