Another point that favors CA (given the 19 hours).

Any biz class seat is so much better than what somebody is used to flying in coach, or even first class domestic, that it will be an experience. Kind of like the difference between a Mercedes and a BMW for somebody who only has driven 10 year old Civics.

OP, go with CA and enjoy the trip.

EDIT: And try to get a seat selected upstairs if they still fly the 747.
