Hertz wouldn't let me rent with Apple Card(physical card) because card had no acct #
I rarely rent with Hertz. Reserved a car online last night and tried to pick it up today at a major airport location. I live 10 minutes away from that airport, if that makes any difference.

Since I just got my Apple Card physical card, I figured that I would use it. Did not have my iPhone with me at the time.

The counters were not busy and the agent was very friendly. She took my DL and Apple Card. Then she told me that they had a "policy" which required the credit card to have numbers on it. Another agent leaned over and said the same thing. I gave her another credit card(regular USAA credit card with "real" numbers on it)

Is this a new policy? Or is it a made-up policy?
