Thanks all. Mysore is attractive, and the zoo/park feedback is in line with what I've heard. I would like to see tigers, but they arent REALLY in the wild there... If I pick a downtown hotel, is the famous Saturday traffic so bad that I should give up on going out to Mysore?
I know only I can decide, but what are thoughts on whether the benefit of staying somewhere really 5 star, like the very affordable Taj's, 4 seasons, Ritz are worth the traffic vs staying up at the Courtyard where it looks like theres nothing to walk to.
