I will flight with Cathay pacific ( First class award ticket) and my travel partner fly with business award ticket from SFO .Can someone advise the following:

a) Should both of us able to enter any first class lounge at SFO with Cathay air ticket. or we must use Cathay lounge at SFO . I read information online that person who has first class air ticket can invites 1 guest into the first class lounge of any airline, I am not sure if that information is correct.

b) If I am allowed to get in any first class lounge ( of any airline), which airline first class lounge is best to use.

c) The first segment of my flight ( SFO -HKG) is in first and 2nd segment ( HKG -MLE) is in business . Will I able to enter Cathay first class lounge in Hong Kong airport even I am done with my first class segment flight. I hope I can get in since I want to use their day room hotel to rest due to very long (8 hrs) waiting at this airport for my connection flight to Maldives

d) Is the Pier still the best lounge (for business class ) in Hong Kong airport. If not, can I use my business air ticket to enter any lounge (of other airline) at Hong Kong Airport . If so, which other airline lounge you recommend besides Cathay lounge.
