There was a similar discussion with respect to gaming Virtuoso benefits in a thread in the Luxury Hotels forum: Can I do A-B-A-B booking with Virtuoso?

If you're going to try it, I would personally avoid linking the two reservations.

And for me, it's not worth $100 to have to potentially check out of the first room and wait for the second room to be available for check in. I'd rather do things in Vegas.
