Cost cutting is in BA’s DNA don’t forget, given BA’s dishonesty in many other areas I don’t have much confidence that costs aren’t being cut in safety and engineering - even if those risks are very small.

The continued fume and smoke incidents on the A320s are probably what alarms me the most.
