The CAA have Mandatory Occurence reporting, Whistleblower reporting, (if staff do not trust the boss-class), and a third set of reports - CHIRP - for those little things that might, over time, add up.
If the CAA had concerns about BA's safety, it would pretty soon leak to the meeja. As there haven't been any recent leaks, I guess their standards must be fine.

However, as the slf experience gets worse, I understand that pax become suspicious. ..................But those Sheilas, Ruperts and Nigels in the pointy end will not fly if there is any sort of safety issue.
