Same experience at YVR. There isn’t a person standing at the exit to go to the bag claim area anymore - the one you used to tell if you had something to declare. Everyone has to actually see an officer in a booth. The booth was just to the left of the exit from the kiosks. Both times for me have been late at night so there was no line but I am curious how it works if there is a huge line of people. Is there a dedicated booth or do they just call Nexus members up between regular travellers? And yes, you then still have to hand in your slip to the officers post-bag claim.
