OK. I got the picture about Hertz, they suck when it comes to awarding points of other companies per their promotions, finding all kinds of excuses not to do it.
I used Hertz via the IHG promotion mainly because they had a good rate. $220 for 6 days = 1 week for intermediate (was Corolla) at SFO. Ended $227 with $7 CA Tourism Fee, that was not in reservation.

The CDP 22754 "IHG Rewards Club" got in automatically from the link of the promotion at IHG, this is probably why I got the 1500 IHG points. I think I inserted my IHG acct# when making the reservation.

I have another Hertz reservation for Miami in May via same IHG promotion, that gave a good rate. Can somebody provide the Hertz PC# for IHG ??

BTW - I am a member of Hertz, but I learned that I get lower rates as non-member vs member rates. Another "feature" of Hertz.
I have No loyalty. I book Hertz/Avis/Budget whoever provides a lower rate (Budget with member#). And generally re-check a few weeks before the trip.
