At the property now with family.
I agree, that hard product is great, impressed by heated outdoor pool with current 13C and well soundproofed terrace windows.
Service has had some issues, but service recovery goodwill was satisfying.
Got upgraded to suite before stay, but then downgraded, cause Panoramic Suites were flooded, finally got Family Suite, which is basically two regular rooms put together, one room divided to sparse child playground/bedroom. Costs 600 EUR low season and 1000 EUR high season. Crazy pricing, if you ask me.
Hotel has several quirks.
For some reason, they have decided to play quite loud Christmas music in corridors so it leaks into rooms a bit.
Beds are quite soft, even when removing the topper, so asked for rollaway, but turns out they do not have rollaway beds.
Also had some keycard issues, but these were solved fast.
Resort clientele, at least around NYE seem to be mostly Russian families and locals on staycation. Inner pool/sauna are sometimes overcrowded by screaming children, there is no adult-only inner pool. Park Kidz club is great big house with its own playgrounds, but mostly oriented for younger kids, under 10y.
They have every day 5pm complimentary coffee-tasting and on Wednesdays 6pm wine-tasting though, that is open to all guests.
Breakfast spread is lavish and high-quality and service there is effective, however with housekeeping there have been some cleanliness issues, although personnel-to-guest ratio seems high.
Hotel location is isolated and far from Limassol centre, so unless you rent a car or taxi, you are stuck with hotel food offerings, burger is 21 EUR, though there is small convenience shop inside hotel too. There are no menus on website, or in-room, although manager promised to fix it. Cocktails are reasonable for 5-star-hotel, 10-12 EUR.
Bus to center is cheap, 1,5 EUR, but takes 35 minutes. Noticed, that in February they have 162 EUR rate incl. 50 EUR hotel credit per DAY, which is quite a good deal for this place, that costs over 300 EUR in high season.
Hotel toiletries are by Philosykos, never seen the fragrance before and not really a fan. Surprised, that they chose such a unknown brand here.
In tech space, they have wireless charger in rooms and universal plugs too, but no Bluetooth speaker. For connecting guest devices, there is Miracast, which does not work with Apple devices.
Regarding beach, there is nice walkaway on coast, but no real beach to speak of.
All-in-all would probably return, but in summer, when all pools are open.
