Sometime back in 2003 I was backpacking through Peru with a couple of friends, staying in hostels.

In one particular hostel there was a nice woollen tablecloth that fit in perfectly. I wondered if there was a label on it, so I had a look, and there was. "Property of British Airways" it said, it was a "repurposed" blanket.
