another little interesting thing is that on entry, my whole family has Global Entry. New software now uses facial recognition in lieu of passports/ fingerprints. My two under 8 years old kids, get X's on their entries (even though facial recognition worked) and we have to stand on a +- 10 min queue. The agent tells me that because they're under 8 the biometrics aren't set up yet....but they just got facially recognized!! TSA/ Border Entry is getting better....but still a long way to go.....makes me think of the Sebastian Maniscalco TSA skit....if you haven't watched it, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it...so so funny!! LOL...

happy travels!
I travel solo about 95% of the time and I've never gotten SSSS.

Also I have GE and in SFO they don't even check your passport and more. The last couple of times I've come in, once your get your little paper slip from the kiosk they have just been waving people through. Add that to the fact that, as a non-citizen, I scan my green card (not passport) at the kiosk, and it means that I could theoretically enter the country without my passport (of course it gets checked at departure)
