If you didn't use the 22754 CDP , then you are not entitled to the bonus - or if it was a prepaid rate it would not be eligible

If you did book using CDP 22754 then go back to Hertz and point out that the terms only required a specific CDP and that no PC was required - alternatively, in this case, I would go to IHG and put in claim with IHG for the missing points , since it would be more logical to claim with IHG than Hertz for missing points to IHG

just wanted to add, that most rental car companys that will allow one to earn pts/miles elsewhere have a daily surcharge (I think $.75 - $1 a day), When they 1st started charging that fee if you omitted the code to get them the CS dept would still grant them, after awhile I guess when they saw thats what alot of folks were doing to get around the fee they simply stood ground and said if it wasnt on the contract by the time it was closed then SOL.

1 company (I forget which) said no problem should I charge the CC you used for the car for the fee, the miles wasnt worth the $7+ they were going to charge
