I reiterate: In my opinion, that was not a proper way to "deal with" a new participant who made a suggestion a certain group believes interferes with their fun and therefore finds offensive, but with which the board owner agreed. I also believe this place has really changed since the old days.
I, for one, liked it better that way.
But I do hope people like vanderbilt continue to stay and contribute suggestions even though some make other folks get their knickers in a knot.

I also think that the real problem is that sometimes people in different forums are openly treated with mistrust just because of their low post count.
Most people
here however say that they don't care. Personally I don't care, too, because meanwhile I know the experts in the forums that I visit.
