I agree about the boredom. I'd prefer to use the net to surf interesting site and catch up on FlyerTalk - but also agree with the fact that these days there are too many devices that mean you are so contactable all the time that no one takes responsibility for their own actions any more. It's like the irritating chap in the EC lounge the other day.........shouting so loud into his mobile that everyone could hear him. "HI BILL IT'S ME? JENNY SAID THAT TOM SAID YOU NEEDED TO SPEAK TO ME URGENTLY. BLACK COFFEE OR CAPPUCCINO? MMMMMMM! WHICH DO YOU PREFER? BLACK? WELL GO WITH THAT AS LONG AS THE BUSINESS CASE STACKS UP. LET ME KNOW HOW YOU GET ON!"

I have managed to avoid being lumbered with a Blackberry so far - but I hate being in meetings with people who have them - and they keep getting them out and giving the wheel a little spin when they think you are not looking.
