The outbound TWOV is probably 50/50. We've heard stories before where a family has been split with one allowed to enter (to collect bags) and the other spouse + kids not allowed entry.

The return leg is different in a couple of ways, different airport and different entry permit (144 hours rather than just a couple). The Turkish stamp should be explanable (presume it was a tourist/holiday?). And you'll likely be just fine.
