As I shop for my flight in 2020, I am "shocked" to see WS Premium Economy pricing is some $60 more expensive than AC Business Class! The equipment is 737-700 and WS does not even have a lounge in YHZ and as far as I know, WS does not have priority check in for PE, at least that's not one of the features posted on its web site.

Am I missing something that I should not buy AC and save $60 plus the following not offered by WS: priority check in, pre-departure lounge, guaranteed bigger seat and a hot meal?

Having completed 4 PE (3 were new seats) flights this month with 2 more coming up, I have concluded I would never pay full fare for the product. It's only worth it on a companion fare, not even worth spending WJDs on.

Extra legroom is nice, but, I can get that with an emergency exit row and pay for drinks/snacks onboard. They did have separate check-in counters and priority board PE passengers which was nice, however if you have status with them you'll get priority boarding as well.

The cabin crew from Vancouver were fantastic, however the ones from Toronto were marginal at best. We enjoyed our Rouge PE experience way more.

I am not a business traveller, I take almost 40-50 flights per year mostly internationally all for leisure paid for by me. I rarely buy business class and mostly opt for last minute upgrades if they are economical and when possible I try and use points etc. I don't have any bias just my honest opinion.
