Get CIP first; after approval, refer CIP to spouse.
If you feel adventurous, in about 3 months, have spouse refer you for another CIP (this time, apply with EIN). I can't guarantee how Chase will feel about this but there have been many (past) data points of folks getting multiple CIPs.
