Please see my above post concerning the UA Caravelle service in Florida as the city pair was actually Miami - Jacksonville. And here's the good news: the other state was indeed Alabama and one of the cities was Mobile.....but the other city wasn't Montgomery. Please guess again, sir!
From December 1 to Boxing Day it poured torrential rain every day here, and even adequate dispersal arrangements were overwhelmed. It was pretty wet before as well. All grass is totally waterlogged and impossible to walk on. Certainly the last few days have seen a respite. However, we are off tomorrow, New Years Eve, to the Mediterranean on a BA A320, with the sharply curved final approach you get from either direction into Nice. Where I see it's +13C and sunny all day. Little Miss WHBM still thinks she is going swimming in the sea, so there's that one to deal with … Some may recall past posts of laying in the sun on the beach there and hearing a DC3 approach over the sea. Don't think that will happen either.

I do notice that having worked through the car rental companies there in the last few days the sidebars alongside this thread are now saturated with their various ads. Hey guys, did you not see I've got one.

If not Montgomery AL then Birmingham AL. And not BHX (there was a quiz question a while ago where I naughtily pretended I didn't know there was more than one .
