Anybody know why QR921 took this odd path?

I wondered about fires over Australia but other flights in the same area at the same time.

The sudden twist at the end doesn't make sense. Almost looks like someone noticed they weren't flying with autopilot and then when it went on it wanted to almost try and backtrack.
All very odd.
