And Ive been offered by several Carriers to pay $XXX and be upgraded into Biz or 1st, yet they wont allow the UP if not paying and using anything but $$$.
As been mentioned if you usually need or want a late checkout change your Chain to one that offers it as a Guarantee benefit, IHG does not nor Hilton
