Coming from LHR and departing to SIN you would have no security nor passport control, however going into town would require you two passport controls and one security check.
Three hours could be just enough but it's probably a little stressful if you're not familiar with ZRH and Zürich. It takes 15 minutes by train from ZRH to main station, where Bahnofstrasse begins, but of course if the shop you're looking for is a bit removed then it might be too much. Sorry I can't be more helpful!
