A few years ago flying out of ZRH (on AA), we were delayed because they didn't have enough de-icing fluid. In ZRH they use a "centralized" de-icing system, which is not airline specific.
PS: Even though ZRH is in Switz., they don't get that much sub 0C temps. They claim the airport has NEVER been closed due to weather issues.
