Swartberg circle route

As per old mate last night, after a quick breakfast (which I have made no notes on at all), we headed North towards the Rust n’ Vrede waterfall



On the way, we passed the Raubenheimer Dam, which was a beautiful mirror at this early hour



And onto the waterfall, where a small entry fee is payable to access the park


Reaching De Rust, I was flagging a little bit so sent pants to buy me a caffeine and sugar boost
He returned with this:

Heading north from De Rust, we came to the Meiringspoort pass, and waterfall



Arriving into Price Albert, we took in some of the buildings



Before heading to the Lazy lizard for pea and ham soup and scones with jam and cheese (much to pants' disgust )- Lazy Lizard

Not as good as the Tea Junxion

It was then time to head back towards Schoemanschoek, down the Swartberg Pass






We skipped the Cango caves (not a huge cave fan) and instead headed for the Cango ostrich farm, where you can hug an ostrich, get a neck massage from an ostrich, and spot what velociraptors evolved into (no ostrich riding here though)- https://www.cangoostrich.co.za
