Flights from Amsterdam to the UK are busy today, but the lounge is calm with plenty of room. I'm impressed with the choice of food ; it's a good selection of fresh (mainly cold) food that's being kept topped up. The soup is very good, and I don't normally eat soup, and I was able to construct a very good brie, salad and crisp sandwich. The lounge staff are circulating all the time, keeping it clean and uncluttered.

If it hasn't been mentioned before, check-in staff told us that guesting rules are complex so they couldn't guarantee, as Silver, that I'd be able to take my travelling partner in, but we had no problem ( late lunchtime) .

Edited to add, fresh profiteroles have just been put out. Bliss.
