MH re-booked me on China Southern to a different destination (Singapore instead of KL) at my request when their flight was going to be cancelled but I'm MH Plat so that might've helped.
When they finalized the flight change it turned out the MH plane was actually deemed fit to fly so it wasn't even necessary in the end. MH was very forthcoming...
This happened at CAN.
