Not really - Norwegian is a low cost carrier that (similarly to FR or U2) is ticketless (there is no e-ticket number, just the PNR). In Troy (TK's Res system) TK can retrieve an e-ticket (but not a PNR, unless there is at least one TK segment) of any airline they have an interline agreement with. So if OP travels with e.g. SAS, TK is able to retrieve the e-ticket and validate it really exists.

We once flew with NZ AKL-APW on a one way ticket. We had another ticket on FJ to fly APW-NAN- (stopover) -AKL. NZ Premium check-in in AKL is set up this way, that you can see agent's screen. The NZ agent was able to retrieve the FJ e-ticket in her Carina system (despite the fact that FJ uses Amadeus) to confirm it exists and is valid for travel. I mentioned that I am surprised FJ (not even a *A member) is letting them access their database and she responded this is reciprocal.
