Just curious. Were you aware of Kabalebo in Suriname? It's widely considered the absolute best jungle lodge in the entire Guiana Shield region (save, perhaps, for Iwokrama River Lodge.) I'm planning to visit there within the next few years, so I'm wondering if there is a better option that I'm not aware of. Thanks.
Yes, I know it. Totally different experience - I have been to the Amazon quite a few times, and was particularly interested in visiting Maroon villages. Kabalebo is, afaik, in a basically unpopulated region. And yes, would love to do Iwokrama lodge and Karanambu in Guyana!
