Yet another example that one need to be adhere strictly to rules when it comes to visa/Schengen visa rules and not relying on being able to apply own assumptions of what will be allowed and not.
Applying for Schengen visa in France but buying a ticket to Norway was asking for troubles IMO.

was adhering strictly to the rules, which generally speaking are to apply for the Schengen visa through the embassy of the country that is your main destination. There is
no rule preventing a connection via another Schengen country on the way to that destination; people do this every day and TK is absolutely in the wrong here, though getting compensation will be difficult I imagine.
