Wow well it is not just you then. I had to use Enterprise just over Christmas because Hertz was fully booked. Same thing as what you described, every step of the way they made me feel like I hadn’t ever rented (or perhaps even seen) a car before in my life. Ohh and then the total joke at JFK that you have to wait for a bus to show up just to take you on a 30 second ride across the street to the Airtrain where all the other rental car agencies are!
