We're looking at this for YYZ-LHR sometime in mid-2020, but trying to be super proactive. We have two cats, each around 9-11lbs. We would obviously prefer to put them under the seat - and are curious if buying PE helps with dimensions at all. Also, it seems that flying J is actually counterproductive in this case. We'll do a daytime flight and maybe get them something to make them sleepy for the trip.

Any recent experience here flying with cats?
If you're flying J in a pod during the day when you don't have to make up a bed, the carrier would probably fit into the footwell.
