BUD Lounges
Non-Schengen
As already reported: the non-Schengen Lounge really exists.
It is staffed by LOT employees (they have LOT ID badges, but are not in LO uniforms).
No official opening hours posted anywhere, but it also accepts SU C-class passengers (Elite Plus Scary Team elites are sent to another lounge), so the hours should be extended.
It is very nice and fairy big. There is an attendant who seems to be proud of Hungarian wines and is ready to recommend one.
No hot food, though. Cold food is OK. Windows overlook the non-Schengen apron (including a single TU-154 aircraft that blocks one jetty/gate - it has a banner saying something about 50th anniversary of TU-154 - why is it even relevant?).
Wi-fi is fast.
Schengen
Dreadful ex-Malev Sky Count lounge.
Better than Menzies lounge, LO used to use. Limited food. Can be very crowded.
