I did not want / ask for the upgrade. Having a room right next to a pool with the potential noise problem is not an upgrade but a downgrade for me. Furthermore, I am just reporting that there is no view in the suite rooms and this in my opinion is a negative. Everyone has opinion. If you love it, by all means continue to patronize them and give them your business but that doesn't in anyway makes my opinion any less valid. This is clearly an inferior property not worthy of 5-star status. There are much better properties in Bali and no shortage of better choices.

What you consider a downgrade or upgrade is irrelevant. They upgraded you according to the room category. You should have known these suites do not have an Ocean View. Both of these complaints are invalid.

And if you think the GM posts to TA, you are a very unseasoned traveller.

Some people have one or two negative issues and are then determined to make an entire stay miserable just so they can complain.
